My path in life has been direct

Is CODA (has deaf parents)

I wanted to be a doctor since I was 12 years old.

I wasn't the best student in college and hated it.

I became much more motivated and inspired when I went to medical school.

Even though I didn't have the best grades, I was chosen over my peers due to compassion and empathy toward helping patients, as well as my background as a CODA, interpreter, and low income student.

I moved to New York without the fear of family not being able to pay for visits due to being able to pay for myself.
