How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
Working in non-profits and early childhood programs are often lowing paying jobs.
How I responded:
I felt lead to work with children and families regardless of the pay. I chose to follow my interests regardless of the low paying field, (I found not this is not always the case) because I felt it was something I was truly called to do. I choose to work in prevention based programs that are essential for making an impact on children while they are very young. Through the years I have found it very rewarding to work with young children and their families, and advocate for them in our community.
