Life & Career Milestones

  • 1.

    Became a GSU tour guide and an Incept New Student Orientation Leader my freshman year at GSU.

  • 2.

    Became the marketing director for Infinite Appeal Fashion Organization and a Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity.

  • 3.

    Failed a class at GSU and had to retake it. I was devastated and highly disappointed in myself because I knew I was better than that. Ended up making an A the second time around.

  • 4.

    Participated in the Disney College Program as a Jungle Cruise skipper & became a DCP campus representative.

  • 5.

    Became a member of the 1913 Society and a New Media Assistant for the GSU PR & Marcom department.

  • 6.

    Graduated from GSU with my BBA in Marketing and certificate in advertising.

  • 7.

    Started working for Eaton as a direct hire for the technical sales leadership development program & moved to Phoenix, AZ.

  • 8.

    Rolled off the LDP program and was promoted to a project manager for the lighting division. Relocated back to ATL and got promoted again to my current role.

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Teachers:

    I was originally told that I wouldn’t be able to get accepted into GSU and that I shouldn’t consider going there.

  • How I responded:

    If I would have listened to my guidance counselor’s advice, I would have never gotten into the school of my dreams. My advice to you is take a chance on yourself even when others doubt you. The end results could work in your favor even if the odds are against you.
