Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
I never believed in myself until I started to visualize what could be. I used to always think negatively. For instance, I would say, "There is no way I could possibly get that job" and when I kept thinking like that the outcome would actually be negative.
How I responded:
The more I visualized myself in a role, such as this one, the closer it got to my reality. Whenever you are thinking about life and it is not on the road you want to be, stop and remember why you're working so hard. Where do you want to be in a few weeks, months, or years? Think about it and never stop. Your mind and body will eventually guide you in the right direction. So again, the more you think, the more you believe, and the more likely it will happen.
