Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Peers:
I left my first fulltime job after 2-1/2 years working at that company, because it was a bad work culture. One woman who worked there said, 'Why are you leaving? It is like this everywhere.'
How I responded:
I was willing to take the chance to move on and was so glad I did. Although other work experiences have had their own challenges, I have had such positive experiences along the way and can truly appreciate a positive, supportive work culture that fosters growth and acknowledges personal and team accomplishments.
