Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
You don't have enough experience. You won't make much money at that.
How I responded:
Stay the course. Set easy to attain short-term goals and lofty long-term goals. Make sure that your short-term goals lead up to and align with the long-term ones. Surround yourself with people who believe in you. Solicit REAL, genuine feedback and never shy away from it. Embrace it and continuously improve yourself both personally and professionally.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
At some point we all experience financial set backs. It's inevitable. Know that there will be ups and downs. When you're down, try and remember the ups. When you're up, be humble and don't forget the downs.
