Advice for getting started
It's natural to wonder about the choices you didn't make and the paths you didn't take. That's always going to be a thought. I just remind myself that I picked this path for a reason and it's not a dead end road. It's going to keep going, I'm going to keep learning, and there will be more choices to make. Your roads may intertwine or converge at some point as well. But either way, it's important to focus on the road you're currently on and make the most of it.

My path in life has been direct
1.
I started my career uncertain and without clear direction, working as a lifeguard while exploring my future academic and professional options.
2.
I pursued environmental science at Notre Dame, followed by dual master's degrees in environmental policy and environmental science at Indiana University.
3.
I landed my first internship in environmental consulting during grad school, which solidified my career direction and passion for the field.
4.
Transitioning from a field professional to project management, I dealt with complex environmental cleanup projects across the Midwest.
5.
I became vice president of EnviroForensics, expanding my role to include operational management and strategic planning for environmental solutions.
6.
I currently lead initiatives to convert environmental liabilities into assets while advocating for environmental justice.
