Advice for getting started
After college, I moved from Marquette, Michigan—an area I loved—to New York City for a job. While there may be more opportunities in the city, it wasn't right for me. My friend from college was experiencing a similar yearning to move back to Marquette. We decided that we could create our own opportunity by moving back and building our own company. It turns out that there is a demand for our work in this area and we can now start to provide it. By prioritizing quality of life, we're succeeding.

My path in life has been direct
1.
I earned a double major in mathematics and computer science from Northern Michigan University.
2.
While in school, I completed a summer internship with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and worked as a systems analyst for Arconic.
3.
After graduating, I went on to earn my master’s degree in data science.
4.
I moved to New York because the job opportunities in technology seemed more plentiful in a big city.
5.
I was working as a revenue management analyst for JetBlue Airways in New York City when two friends from college and I co-founded Kall Morris Inc.
6.
We decided to establish the company in Marquette, Michigan, because the work we do isn’t defined by a specific location—we prioritized a location with a low cost of living and high quality of life.
7.
Our goal at Kall Morris Inc is to eliminate debris in orbit—I lead the technology to help reach our goal.

Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I still struggle with this sometimes but I think the key to overcoming imposter syndrome is giving yourself the time to become an expert. I may experience doubts but I know that I know what I'm talking about because I've put in the time to learn.
